The Bulls have had a fantastic few campaigns to date, with an unrivalled run of 36 games unbeaten, and look to continue this winning streak into the new season. The Bulls have recently strengthened both the coaching staff and created an Under 23 team to bolster the first team whilst providing additional opportunities for young players.

Jersey Bulls Chairman, Russell Le Feuvre stated “We are delighted to have received upward movement from the English FA and look forward to the new challenge of playing Step 5 Football. As a club we are extremely proud of the efforts of all the players, management, and committee over the first two disjointed seasons. Thank you to all of our supporters.”

The new season is due to start on 7th August 2021 with selected pre-season matches commencing in Jersey from 10th July, which the Bulls hope to play in front of supporters.

Gary Freeman, Manager commented “Our initial reaction to this news is one of relief, it’s been a long process and we are so pleased the FA have rewarded those teams that deserve promotion over what has been a testing few seasons. I am absolutely delighted for the players.

With team Captain James Queree adding “We’re excited for the challenges that are ahead, going into a league full of quality opposition and the potential of a first ever FA Cup game.
Obviously a big thank you to the Club, the hard work that goes on behind the scenes and for the continued backing of our supporters.”

There have been many memorable moments throughout the Bulls’ first two seasons in step 6, from their pre-season game against Leicester City U23s, their 7-0 win over Cove on 23rd November 2019 and their last game played in 2020 against Billingshurst in the FA Vase where Jersey Bulls won 3-0. Exciting times ahead!
