Jersey Wanderers U13 Girls To Host Tuck Shop in FanZone

The Jersey Wanderers' girls are raising money to travel to play in the Gothia World Youth Tournament, being held in Sweden in July.

The girls will be hosting a tuck shop in the Jersey Bulls FanZone at our FA Vase match on Saturday 13th January to raise money for their trip.

They will be selling sweets, cakes, tea, coffee and more!

About The Tournament

The Gothia World Youth Tournament is the world’s largest and most international youth football tournament. Each year, around 1700 teams from 80 nations take part and they play 4500 games on 110 pitches.

The tournament begins in groups of four or five teams, where all teams are playing each other once. The first and second placed teams of the group qualify for play-off A, other teams in the group qualify for play-off B.

Did you know...

The Gothia Cup was held for the first time in 1975. Over the years, more than one million players have participated and 147 nations have been represented in the tournament.
