In a knockout set up the Bulls are 10 games, with the semi-final being two legs, away from a Wembley final.

Bulls director Ian Horswell stated ‘Everyone at the club are delighted by the fact we are in the FA Vase. It’s a great competition open to our level, the level above and the level below.’

‘There are over 600 clubs in the competition and will give Gary and the lads an exciting new challenge.’

Guernsey FC reached the semi-final of the competition back in the 2012-13 season and Horswell says this can be the challenge for Gary and his players to surpass.

‘Can we go one round further than Guernsey FC? We will see. It will be a difficult competition as it is the whole of England so there are good teams in there. I am sure the players will relish playing in the competition.’

The First Qualifying Round is due to played on Saturday 19th September, with the draw to be made on Tuesday 18th August.
